Hello, Osgridders! We have a lot of moving parts to cover this month, from leadership shifts and technical upgrades to our 2026 event roadmap. Here is the latest breakdown of where we stand.
💰 Financials
As of February 8th, our community funds are looking healthy, though we are always looking for more subscribed donations to ensure long-term stability. Taxes: Our Treasurer is currently preparing our tax reports. Once they have been submitted and approved, we will post the full documentation on the Wiki for public review.
🛠️ Website & Backend Upgrades
Our administrative “arsenal” just got a significant power-up. We’ve rolled out several features to improve both user experience and our administrative backend management:
- New Statistics Page: Get a better look at grid data in real-time.
- Improved Map: The grid map has been overhauled to show correct region sizes and scaling.
- Update Tracker: A new backend tool for tracking administrative changes.
- PHP Upgrade: The blog has been moved to the latest PHP version for better security and speed.
- Display names Public Test : We implemented display names for testing on LBSA and Event plaza. Set them in your account on the website. (Optional).

🌐 Grid Status & LBSA
We’ve implemented significant modifications to LBSA Plaza. On a tougher note, we are aware that some stores have recently left the grid due to third-party hosting issues. The team is actively reaching out to provide assistance where possible; we hope to help resolve these hurdles and resurrect those locations soon.

- Valentine’s Event: Happening now at the Event Plaza!
- Easter Egg Contest: Kicking off immediately following the Valentine’s festivities.
- Osgrid Birthday (July 20–26): Our theme this year is Sci-Fi and Future. Start dreaming up your futuristic builds now!
- Annual Fundraiser (Sept 21–27): This year’s theme is Technology.
